Jake is testing my limits these days. Today I finally had to go hard core on the time outs. He's had lots. And lots. He just keeps hitting Ben and Maddie and I'm not sure how to make it stop. It's been getting progressively worse for two weeks. After his time out a few minutes ago I sat him on my lap to explain that it hurts Ben when he gets hit. Jake refused to look at me then finally says, "The sign says no hitting." "huh?" "the sign says no hitting and no running." Hmmm...whatever works. "Okay. If the sign says no hitting lets not hit." He seems cool with that logic.
